We decided to start our day with a short hike on the trails that run through my aunt and uncles neighborhood. We discovered a trail that basically took us up a mountain. We hiked 2.6 miles to the top and view was worth it!Afterwards we made the short drive to Dinosaur Ridge. There we had an awesome hippie tour guide that took us up the mountain where we saw dino fossils and tracks. The tracks were pretty cool! Apparently this area was the migration path for the iguanadons as well as other dinosaurs of the cretaceous age.
In the evening Uncle Steve took us to a Rockies game! We watched to Rockies put up a good fight through 13 innings winning by one run. We had great seats and ice cold coors light!
We really love it here in Colorado and have a great time when we visit. Steve and Cheena are great hosts!
On day 4 we are heading north to Wyoming!
