We woke up in Ritzville (orignal home of the wheat used in Ritz Crackers!) and headed west to stay with my Aunt Julie, Uncle Marty and their lab Addie. Cousin Ryan, his girlfriend Kendra and their lab, Ducky were also there for a visit! We arrived in Woodinville just in time to join the family at a concert at Chateau St. Michelle. We saw a 1964 Beatles cover band. The music was fun and the band sported black suits, beatle boots and awesomely bad english accents. We had so much fun! We enjoyed some wine and an excellent spread of assorted cheeses, bread, roast beef and cup cakes prepared by our top chef Julie. YUM!

The next day Marty took Ryan, Daniel and myself into Seattle. The fresh market was fun to see and the view from the pier was beautiful. We had lunch at the Pike Brewery. The beer and food was great! That evening we played ladder ball, had BBQ, great conversation and more wine!

We spent the morning of the 4
th on Lake Washington. It was a cold but beautiful morning. Daniel was determined to wake skate and although we all thought he was nuts he had a great run. While Daniel dried off and warmed up Addie chased her tennis ball. She LOVES water! Afterwords Marty took us close to Seattle for some lunch. I loved looking at all the house boats on the water. I wonder which one was Tom Hanks?

Once we got home we said goodbye to Ryan, Kendra and Ducky. Julie and I spent the afternoon catching up and watching the food network while Uncle Marty schooled Daniel at ladder ball. I really enjoyed spending the evening with my Aunt and Uncle and the holiday weekend with family!
Tomorrow we will head south! Thanks to Marty and Julie for a fabulous time! We love you!
